　　每年冬天，印度都有人因为衣不蔽体而冻死街头。

　　志工安素认为衣服除了保暖之外，还关系到一个人的尊严，于是他带着尊重的心态把旧衣物送到贫困者的手中。

　　为了进一步维护穷人的尊严，他鼓励农民以劳力换取再循环衣物。

　　他的呼声带来巨大的回响，旧衣收集中心遍布全国，村民在造桥修路的过程中，也发现自己不再只是为了旧衣物而劳动，而是为了发挥自己的力量。安素也用旧衣解决了乡村妇女的卫生棉问题，让这些妇女不再因为月经处理不当而患病或丧命。

　　Every winter, there will always be people dying in the streets of India, as they are unable to clothe themselves sufficiently for the cold weather.

　　Anshu, the founder of GOONJ, feels that other than providing warmth, clothes also have to do with dignity. As such, when he passes old clothes to the poor people, he gives with due respect to the recipients.

　　To uphold the dignity of the poor people, he encourages them to use their labor in exchange for recycled clothes.

　　His exhortation is met with an overwhelming response. Collection centres for old clothes sprouted across the country and villagers came to realize that their hard work goes beyond exchanging of old clothes - it is about unleashing their capabilities. Goonj is also able to resolve the female villagers' sanitary pad problems through the use of old clothes. These women were also spared the danger of contacting illnesses or losing their lives through mismanagement of their menstruation issues.

　　格洛雅除了提供门诊，她也亲自探访那些行动不便的病人，给与他们医疗照顾和关怀。格洛雅在岛上感染了传染病，但是她从没想过放弃，抱病投入工作，村民都称她为格洛雅妈妈。
